The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to publicize next month's boxing match.
Former twice world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
Despite these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually recognized for his showmanship - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's largest money-making draws, regularly earning huge earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in rounds four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Size Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the fight is truly proceeding.
